Location :

Anterior to the angle of jaw, at the lower border of m. masseter where the artery of the mandible groove can be palpated.

Indications :

Toothache, parotitis, facial paralysis. Facial paralysis, trismus, swelling of the cheek, pain in the face, toothache.

Method of puncturing :

Courses wind and quickens the connecting vessels.
