Location :

1 cun lateral to the nipple in the 4th intercostal space.

Indications :

Fullness in chest, pain in the hypochondriac region, tuberculosis of lymph nodes. Suffocating sensation in the chest pain in the hypochondriac region, swelling and pain of the axillary region.

Method of puncturing :

Opens the chest and rectifies Qi, suppresses cough and calms dyspnea, diffuses the Lung and clears heat.
