Location :

1.5 cun lateral to the lower border of the spinous process of the 10th thoracic vertebra

Indications :

Infective hepatitis, cholecystitis, back pain. Jaundice, bitter taste of the mouth, pain in the chest and hypochondriac region, pulmonary tuberculosis, afternoon fever.

Method of puncturing :

Resolves damp-heat in Liver and Gallbladder, pacifies Stomach, relaxes diaphragm.
