GB 36 Waiqiu

Location :

Level and 1 cun posterior to Yangjiao (GB 35), and posterior to the border of the fibula.

Indications :

Pain in the lateral aspect of leg, spasm of the m. gastrocnemius. Pain in the neck, chest, thigh and hypochondriac region, chills and fever that accompany rabies.

Method of puncturing :

Remove obstruction from the channel, stops pain.

It is a Wood point.
