Location :

In the depression at the junction of anterior and middle third of the sole in a depression between the 2nd and 3rd metatarso-phalangeal joint when the toes are plantar flexed.

Indications :

Coma, shock, mania, hysteria, epilepsy, infantile convulsion, unchecked nausea and vomiting, sore throat, dysuresis, also vertical headache. Headache, blurring of vision, dizziness, sore throat, dryness of tongue, loss of voice, dysuria, infantile convulsions, feverish sensation in the sole, loss of consciousness.

Method of puncturing :

Tonifies yin, clears heat, subdues wind, subdues empty-heat, calms the mind, restores consiciousness, clears the brain.

It is a tonification point.

It is a Water point.
